Presentate da Mindy Kaling e Morris Chestnut lunedì 9 dicembre 2024, ecco tutte le nomination e le categorie dei Golden Globes 2025, che si terranno a Los Angeles il 5 gennaio nella cerimonia presentata dalla stand-up comedian Nikki Glaser. In Italia, nella notte fra il 5 e il 6, dovrebbero essere visibili in diretta su Paramount+.
Si parte dai due premi speciali già annunciati e che saranno consegnati il 3 gennaio, il Cecil B. DeMille (premio alla carriera cinematografica) a Viola Davis e il Carol Burnett (premio alla carriera televisiva) a Ted Danson.
L’Italia ottiene una meritatissima e non semplice candidatura per Vermiglio di Maura Delpero – regista che di recente ha sottolineato in un’intervista al Corriere della Sera le difficoltà economiche della sua campagna Oscar a causa dei tagli al cinema voluti dall’ex ministro Sangiuliano.
Lo straordinario film di Jacques Audiard, Emilia Pérez, già premiato a Cannes 2024, ha ottenuto ben 10 nomination infrangendo il record assoluto di candidature nella categoria Musical/Comedy per un film. Purtroppo è assente del tutto l’interessante The Piano Lesson, opera prima di Malcolm Washington, ma la quota-sorpresa (che poi tanto sorpresa non è, dato che sta collezionando nomination e premi da mesi) è Nickel Boys di RaMell Ross.
