L’83ª edizione dei Golden Globes si terrà l’11 gennaio 2026. Le nomination delle 28 categorie sono state annunciate l’8 dicembre 2025 da Marlon Wayans e Skye P. Marshall. Con 9 candidature è Una battaglia dopo l’altra a guidare la corsa, seguito da Sentimental Value (8) e I peccatori (7).
Tra le sorprese, la doppia candidatura di Jacob Elordi, sia a miglior attore non protagonista per Frankenstein sia per il suo ruolo da protagonista nella miniserie La strada stretta verso il profondo Nord. Cynthia Erivo raggiunge un traguardo storico, come prima donna nera a essere candidata per due anni consecutivi nella categoria miglior attrice, così come Wagner Moura ottiene la prima nomination per il Brasile nella categoria miglior attore.
Delude, forse, l’assenza di Wicked: For Good dalla categoria miglior film musicale o commedia, ma almeno nella categoria rientra il (bellissimo) Nouvelle Vague di Richard Linklater, presente anche con un secondo film, Blue Moon.
